Nour Archive traces the fragments and patterns that remain with us, and the ways they continue to shape memory, identity, and belonging.
We all carry an archive.
I have always been interested in what remains when physical forms change: the patterns, objects, rituals, relationships, and fragments through which we come to recognize ourselves and the worlds we belong to.
I think of an archive not only as a record of what was, but as a way of tracing what persists. Memory - personal and collective - allows fragments of identity to be carried, rearranged, and given new form across changing places and circumstances.
Perhaps resilience is not always the preservation of form, but the persistence of patterns through change.
Nour Archive is an evolving collection of these traces, and an invitation to take part in them; by collecting a piece from my archive, or by sharing fragments of your own for me to translate into a visual archive
